Mr Mojo Risin

All the Poems have wolves in them
All but one -- the most beautiful one of all.
She dances in a ring of fire
And throws off the Challenge with a shrug

I hope you go out smiling
like a child into the cool remnant of a dream,
the angel man finally claimed his benevolent soul.
Ophelia, leaves sudden and silk
chlorine dream -- mad stifled witness.

"This is the strangest life I have ever known."

Shake dreams from your hair
My pretty child, my sweet one.
Choose the day and choose the sign of your day
The day's divinity
First thing you see.
A vast radiant beach in a cool jeweled moon
Couples naked race down by it's quiet side
And we laugh like soft, mad children
Smug in the woolly cotton brains of infancy
The music and voices are all around us.  Choose they croon the Ancient Ones The time has come again Choose now, they croon Beneath the moon Beside an ancient lake Enter again the sweet forest Enter the hot dream Come with us Everything is broken up and dances.

  1. Hey Amy. Thanks for lending your eyes to my arts blog and the follow. I am digging your newborn blog as well and love the title "Life and time of a succulent wild woman" Now that's just poetry.

And now that Doors song is officially stuck in my head.
